Film is a powerful force. It can transcend geographical borders, breach foreign language obstacles, overcome prejudice, nurture understanding, make you laugh, sing, or cry. The simple act of going to the movies can be one small step to bringing the world just a little bit closer. Cinema is the ultimate political negotiator. The festival's merger expansion this year to two locations makes it easily accessible to movie viewers in Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Ahwatukee, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, and Queen Creek. The mission of this cinematic tour d' force is to give movie lovers throughout the Valley the unique opportunity to experience firsthand the richness of Jewish culture and tradition.

Through your generous donation, you can be part of this effort to broaden and enrich the scope of the non-profit Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival. Your money will enable us to bring you highly acclaimed newly released films, and to advertise through newspapers and our website. A portion of the profits will be donated to Hospice of the Valley. Your contribution will help us grow and expand, and reach greater numbers of viewers of all ages.

One of our goals is to reach beyond the movie theaters and bring the Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival to Middle and High School students in both secular and public schools through our outreach “Films in the Schools Program.” Our mission is to help teach brotherhood and a greater understanding of the diversity in humankind.
