Why have 1 when you can have 2? In this classic yeshiva love story Matchmaking 2, a 28-year-old graduate yeshiva student, who has long missed every opportunity to get married, continues to live at the yeshiva where he serves as the faithful assistant to the matchmaker. When he picks up the matchmaker’s daughter from the airport, he decides it’s time for him to get married. But when he is matched to someone else, he resolves to do everything he can to thwart the match. This one screams love, funny and Oy-Vey all in one swoop.
Director Erez Tadmor, who is a special guest and director of our Opening Night film SODA, brings the funny all over again.
