Overview

  • Modern antisemitism once again rears its ugly head. Grant Gochin learns that Jonas Noreika was the murderer of his ancestors and thousands of Jews during the Holocaust and yet he is considered a Lithuanian hero today. Gochin sues the infamous Lithuania’s Genocide and Resistance Research Centre to correct this blatantly false narrative. Then he finds unexpected support from Silvia Foti, a brave Lithuanian woman fighting for the truth…and whose grandfather was Jonas Noreika. Together, Gochin and Foti work to bring justice to victims and the truth to light.

The feature film will be preceded by the short film ANATEVKA.

The film will be followed by a speaker. Dr. Ettie Zilber serves on the Board of the Phoenix Holocaust Association and as a docent at the museum of the Arizona Jewish Historical Society. She was born in a Displaced Persons camp in Landsberg, Germany to Lithuanian parents who survived the Holocaust. After Dr. Zilber retired from a career as head administrator in international schools, she researched, documented and published her family’s Holocaust experiences and has lectured at schools, universities and conferences throughout the USA and other countries, including Lithuania and Germany.
